The Loyalty Foundation is excited to announce the expansion of our esports program!

Following the successful launch of the first-ever esports program for Newark Public Schools, and the highly popular esports initiatives at The Gateway Family YMCA in Elizabeth, NJ, and Grand Street Settlement in Lower Manhattan, we are now bringing our program to three Boys & Girls Clubs in southern Michigan.

We are currently setting up esports programs and permanent computer labs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint, the Muskegon Lakeshore, and Greater Southwest Michigan.

At this stage we are ordering equipment and setting up six gaming "rigs" (computers, desks, controllers, etc.) at each facility. Once the labs are in place, it will be time for each organization to recruit players, build their teams, design their logos, practice and prepare for their first official match with another Loyalty Foundation team.

We see each new program through to the end of their first season after which we feel organizations should be fully prepared to run their own program. Regardless, we are always available to answer any questions.

Esports - A Fun And Engaging Introduction to Computer Science

Esports gaming is a winning strategy to introduce computer science to middle and high school-aged children in your community. While learning tech skills, youth also discover new talents and dreams they might not have otherwise imagined. The immense joy the children experience not only fosters educational interest and self-esteem but also creates a community-building ripple effect.

The esports ecosystem offers a wealth of opportunities for students to engage in various roles beyond just playing the game. Upwards of 20 children can be involved in just one team. Each role is vital to the team's overall success and helps students develop a diverse set of skills. By embracing these roles, students gain valuable experiences that prepare them for future careers and personal growth.

Esports program roles include:

  • E-Athlete

  • Streamer/Commentator

  • Assistant Coach

  • Marketing/Graphic Design

  • IT Support

A Permanent Computer Lab for your Organization

Because we provide computers, equipment, setup, and an IT person, participating organizations also gain a permanent functional computer lab. Here, students can access computers and participate in our various tech education programs, such as Gaming4Good and AI (Artificial Intelligence) & Art. They can also explore higher education, scholarships, grants, employment opportunities, and resources to assist their families.
